When our long-time client acquired this refined, rustic Westlake home, she needed to make it her own everyday getaway. We used gentle fabrics, plush sofas, linen drapes, wool rugs and other soft finishes and embellishments to build attractive contrasts with the existing substantial architectural elements. The project builds on an established relationship—allowing for a deeper level of trust, creativity, and personalization.
Tucked cleverly on secluded lot in one Austin’s most geographically intriguing neighborhoods, this residence reflects a layered approach to design—we approached the project with a focus on craftsmanship and individuality. From architectural features like the statement vent hood to the curated furnishings throughout, each detail contributes to a cohesive, grounded aesthetic.
As featured in The Haven List and Business of Home, the project highlights the nuance and opportunity that come with designing for returning clients—where familiarity allows the design to evolve in meaningful and highly tailored ways.
